Good to know: All the information concerning your trade visitor ticket

  • You are a trade visitor, if you:

    • are involved professionally in the development, production, marketing or communication of print and electronic media or the arts
    • work in the education sector
    • are a student (all fields of study)
    • are an author

  • When are the trade visitor days?

    The first three days of the Frankfurt Book Fair are for professional visitors only.

  • Can I use the public transportation system with my ticket?

    Yes, exhibitor passes and trade visitor tickets bought online or at the box office entitle holders to use public transport in the greater Rhine Main area (RMV).

  • Is there a barrier-free access?

    A barrier-free access and connection network also provides freedom of movement for mobility-impaired visitors. The indoor Via Mobile is equipped with moving walkways and lets you reach every hall comfortably.

    Discounted tickets
    Wheelchair users and people who need to be accompanied by a helper (German "B" marker or equivalent in the disability pass) may enter the exhibition site together with their companion free of charge on all days of the fair after 9.00 am. Disabled people without the German "B" marker or equivalent in their disability pass, but having a disability status equivalent to the German certification GdB 50 or higher can obtain a reduced-rate one-day trade visitor ticket for 18 Euros as well. Disabled people without accompanying persons and a disability status below GdB 50 or equivalent are required to pay the normal price.
